Now, it's rare to find a kitchen product that truly revolutionises how we cook and I think the latest big thing was the air fryer. An enormous number of people now own these and in particular the Ninja Airfryer is super popular. This is where my journey with the air fryer began and don't get me wrong, the Ninja is really really good. You can also get the Cosori Airfryer if you're looking for something a little cheaper. As much as I love the famous air fryers, my issue is they're not very pretty and I do not like having it out on my worktop all the time which means I have to consume an entire cupboard in storing it. So, when I saw the Our Place Wonder Oven, I was sold! Mixing prettiness, versatility and innovation, to your culinary toolkit, this beauty promises to make meal prep easier, faster and more enjoyable. If you're looking for a pretty airfryer, this is for you.
So what exactly is the Wonder Oven? and is the Our Place Wonder Oven worth it? I'm here to tell you all about it today and to answer any questions you may have.

They are a kitchenware company dedicated to creating thoughtfully designed products that simplify and enhance the cooking experience. They are famous for their multifunctional and aesthetically pleasing cookware and I have used their Always Pan and Perfect Pot for several years now and would highly recommend them both. What is the Our Place Wonder Oven?
The Our Place Wonder Oven is a multifunctional small and compact countertop appliance designed to streamline cooking processes. Combining the capabilities of several kitchen devices is the real stand out for this small but perfectly formed piece of kit. It can function as an air fryer, toaster, grill, convection oven and a steamer. This makes it a valuable item for the likes of me who doesn't have endless counter top space but likes to have easy access to my appliances rather than constantly putting them away.

In a nutshell it cooks in nearly every single way you want it to - it grills, toasts, bakes, boils, steams and air frys. For me personally, the Wonder Oven's most significant appeal is its ability to replace the need for multiple kitchen gadgets. Whether you need to bake, broil, roast or air fry this appliance does it all. Coupled with my Thermomix and outdoor Ooni pizza oven it's literally all I need in my kitchen.
What are the key features of the Wonder Oven?
Multifunctional:
The Wonder Oven's most significant appeal is its ability to replace multiple kitchen gadgets. Whether you need to bake, broil, roast or air fry you can use this appliance. I have used it to roast potatoes, toast bread, air fry chicken, melt chocolate, melt butter and reheat pizza so far and everything has been perfect.
User Friendly:
It couldn't be simpler, the Wonder Oven is equipped with an intuitive control panel, it gives you a real hassle free cooking experience. Preset cooking modes and adjustable settings make it easy for anyone to achieve great results. Airfrying takes a little bit of time to adjust to but after a little practice anyone can get the hang of it.
Compact Design:
Even though it has multiple functions, the Wonder Oven is so sleek and so small to look at. It's perfect for small kitchens.
Energy Efficiency:
This appliance is designed to cook food quickly and evenly which can reduce cooking times and save energy compared to traditional ovens.

Is the Wonder Oven easy to clean?
A bowl of hot soapy water and a cloth is all you need to keep everything sparkling and it's soooo much easier than cleaning a whole damned oven! Also many of the parts are dishwasher safe so you don't even need to scrub and the oven also features non stick surfaces.
Can the Wonder Oven it handle large meals?
Okay, so this depends on what you are cooking. For Matt and I, it's perfect. I can roast a whole chicken, make roast potatoes, roast vegetables, grill fish, air fry steak and a whole host of other things. The other thing I would say is I can cook all of these at once. With it's multi trays I can cook various things at the same time which is very useful. It has a surprisingly good amount of interior space. What I couldn't do is place a large pizza in it because there simply isn't enough room and if I was baking lots of buns I would have to do so in batches so while I love it, it does have some limitations. Having said that, pizzas come in all shapes and sizes and some do fit in there! To sum up it's ideal for 2 people and maybe even 3.
Can the Wonder Oven replace my microwave?
This is the only downside I've found so far. It uses heat in the same way as an oven or an air-fryer rather than using microwaves to heat up or cook food. However, it can be used for many of the same cooking reheating functions where you may otherwise use a microwave. An example is that I melt chocolate in it. It wouldn't however boil milk.
What sets the Our Place Wonder Oven apart from the rest?
The multi functionality is the best bit for me and I can do most things that I want to do in it. What truly sets it apart is the steam infusion technology which can be used with every function. This is done by pouring a small amount of water in to an inlet at the top of the device. It means that the outside of what you are cooking is crisp and the inside is moist.

What is included in the Wonder Oven?
It comes with a wire rack, a bake pan and an air fryer basket all which are super handy. These stack nicely to allow cooking a whole meal together.

Are there any cons to the Wonder Oven?
The only slight downside I've found so far is that it gets quite hot on the exterior so when using it I am careful where I position it. Apart from that I have no complaints.
Is the Wonder Oven worth the investment?
I was late to the air fryer party and while I love what the Ninja does, I don't like how cumbersome it looks and the faff in hiding it in a cupboard when I've used it. On the other hand, the Wonder Oven does most things the Ninja does and looks pretty. It's versatile, efficient and easy to use. The upfront cost, as with the Ninja, is quite high but its ability to replace multiple devices can actually save money and space in the long run so for me it is absolutely worth the investment.
The Our Place Wonder Oven is a game changer for me. Its multi functionality, compact pretty design and easy to use features make it a must have for anyone wanting to simplify their cooking process.
